Johnnie Ruth Parsley ATCHLEY

Rock Island, TN resident and Warren County native Johnnie Ruth Parsley Atchley, age 82, was born June 3, 1923 and died April 13, 2006 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville.  A retired employee of the Oster Corporation and a member of the Corinth Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late John and Emma Green Parsley.  She was married to Raymond Fred Atchley who preceded her in death December 30, 1960.  She is survived by seven children and their spouses, Pat and Jimmy Crouch of Rock Island, Gary Atchley of McMinnville, Shirley and Jerry Hildreth of Smithville, Larry Atchley of McMinnville, Dr. Michael Atchley of Hermitage, TN and Denise and Jim Totherow and Pam Rose both of McMinnville;  twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren and one brother and sister-in-law, Floyd and Robie Parsley of Madison, TN.  Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2006 in High's Chapel with Ricky Tubb officiating.  Burial followed in the Webb Cemetery at Bluff Springs.  Memorial contributions may be made to .
