Archie Ray BONNER

Morrison, TN resident and Warren County native Archie Ray Bonner, age 87, was born January 1, 1919 and died March 4, 2006 at River Park Hospital following a brief illness.  A retired employee of the State of Tennessee Highway Department, a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II and a member of the Morrison Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Mac Redden and Flora Ann Bell Bonner.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry Lee and Redden Bonner and three sisters, Irene Melton, Mary Luney, and Flora Mai Harvey. He is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry Bruce of Morrison, TN, Pam and Joel Grissom of McMinnville, and Donna and Lynn Boren of Morrison, TN;  five grandchildren and their spouses, Stacey and Cameron Burks, Wes and Tyla Grissom, Whit Bruce, Sarah Boren and Will Boren;  three great-grandchildren, Cethley Burks, Kayley Grissom, and Sydney Burks;  brother, Mackie Bonner and several nieces and nephews.  A graveside service and interment was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday March 6, 2006 at the Stroud Cemetery in Morrison, TN with J. Lynwood Mathis officiating.
