Frankie Irene BOYD

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Frankie Irene Boyd, age 78, was born August 4, 1927 and died January 13, 2006 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following an extended illness.  A homemaker, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Elba Boren Bost and was married to Corbet Boyd who preceded her in death in 1993.  In addition to her husband and parents she was also preceded in death by one grandson, Edward Steven Boyd.  She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Steve Boyd of the Rocky River Community;  son and daughter-in-law, David and Debbie Boyd of McMinnville;  four grandchildren, Joey and Brent Boyd of the Rocky River Community and Dwayne and James Boyd of McMinnville;  six great grandchildren, Harley, Jaylen, Jessie, Jaythan, Gabe and Garrett Boyd;  two sisters, Hazel Wilcher and Millie Smith both of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews also survive.  Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 16, 2006 in High's Chapel with Pokie George officiating.  Burial followed in the Hills Creek Cemetery.
