James Alf BRASWELL

McMinnville resident and Dekalb County, TN native James Alf Braswell, age 84, was born December 23, 1921 and died December 2, 2006 at his residence following a sudden illness.  An accountant with APAC and a veteran of the United States Army Air Corps during WWII, he was the son of the late Zollie and Maude Burch Braswell.  He was married to Virgie Juanita Ansley Braswell who preceded him in death October 1, 2003.  He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Bill Hillis of McMinnville;  two sons and daughter-in-law, Tommy Braswell of Hermitage, TN and Jeff and Tammy Braswell of Katy, TX;  three grandchildren, Kirk Wanamaker, Jennifer Braswell, and Lee Braswell and two great-grandchildren, Peyton and Alexis Wanamaker.  A graveside service and interment was held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at Mt. View Cemetery with Bro. Carl Smith officiating.
