Lillian Dorothy Craig BROCK

Doyle, TN resident and Van Buren County, TN native Lillian Dorothy Craig Brock, age 89, was born November 26, 1916 and died June 12, 2006 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.  A retired seamstress at the Doyle Shirt Factory and a member of the Greenwood Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Betty Shockley Craig.  She was married to Dave Brock who preceded her in death March 21, 1993.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Elbert Lee McGuire;  grandsons, Sheron Carter and Walter Lynn McCoy;  son-in-law, Lester McCoy and seven sisters and four brothers.  She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Margie and William Carter and Donzetta "Donna" and Frank Morris all of McMinnville and Betty McCoy of Spencer, TN;  three sons and daughters-in-law, Earl "Buddy" and Roberta Brock of Doyle, TN, Sammy and Lesa Brock of McMinnville and Joel Brock of Doyle, TN;  fourteen grandchildren, thirty-seven great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 15, 2006 at Greenwood Baptist Church in Doyle, TN with Garvin Haley, Billy Lowery, and Thomas Farmer officiating.  Burial followed in the Greenwood Cemetery.
