McMinnville resident and Warren County native Evelyn G. Sain Brown, age 84, was born March 25, 1922 and died September 16, 2006 at River Park Hospital following a sudden illness. A homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Ted Sain and Susie Baugh Mitchell. She was married to Abraham Lincoln Brown who preceded her in death in 1975. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Don Brown and grandsons, Curtis Wood, Walter Keel, Don Brown, Jr. and Robert Keel, Jr. She is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Vera and Robert Keel of Chicago, IL, Evelena and Andrew Harris of Liberty, KY, Sue and Orbin Wood of McMinnville and Barbara and Luther Wood of McMinnville; son, Charles Brown of McMinnville; fifteen grandchildren and several great and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Doris Shaw of California and four brothers, John Sain of Morrison, TN, Larry Sain of Elkhart, IN, Richard Sain of Tullahoma, TN, and Jimmy Sain of Maxmeadows, VA. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 21, 2006 in High's Chapel with Eugene Wilkerson and Michael Harris officiating. Burial followed in the Heatherly Cemetery in Coffee County, TN.
