Helen Louise BROWN

December 13, 1923 — June 12, 2006

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Helen Louise Brown, age 82, was born December 13, 1923 and died June 12, 2006 at River Park Hospital following a lingering illness.  A housekeeper and a member of the East End Drive Church of Christ, she attended Bernard High School and was the daughter of the late William Lawrence and Fannie Leftrict Martin, Sr.  She was married to Elcain Brown who preceded her in death February 21, 1969.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William Lawrence Martin and James Edward Martin.  She is survived by on sister, Vera Bates of Houston, Texas;  sisters-in-law, Sarah and Nannie Martin both of McMinnville;  special friends, Jessie Mae Ramsey, Paula Ramsey, and Frank Farrar and a host of nieces and nephews in Tennessee, Texas, and Ohio.  Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday June 17, 2006 in High's Chapel with Bro. Phillip Smith, Jr. officiating.  Burial followed in the Riverside Cemetery.
