Mary Lee Hale CANTRELL

Union Grove, AL resident and Warren County native Mary Lee Hale Cantrell, age 85, was born October 31, 1921 and died December 4, 2006 at Marshall Medical Center North in Guntersville, AL.  A homemaker and a member of the Arlington Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late W.G. and Axie Beatrice Cooley Hale.  She was married to William Carson Cantrell who preceded her in death December 8, 2004.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Selma Eugene Cantrell and daughter, Lenice Hale Cantrell.  She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Brenda Joyce Cantrell of Union Grove, AL;  three grandchildren, Gerald Cantrell, Jr. of Cullman, AL, John Aaron Cantrell of Huntsville, AL and Josie Styles of Hartselle, AL;  five great-grandchildren, Drew, Garrett and Will Styles all of Hartselle, AL, Carson Wyatt Cantrell of Arab, AL and Morgan Cantrell of Decatur, AL;  two brothers, J.T. Hale of McMinnville and William Albert Hale of Tullahoma, TN;  sister, Mildred L. Hitchcock of Rock Island, TN and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 7, 2006 in High's Chapel with Charles Pearson and Wayne Cantrell officiating.  Burial followed in the Gath Cemetery.
