Mary COPE

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Mary Cope, age 77, was born August 18, 1929 and died October 20, 2006 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following an extended illness.  A retired employee of Spartans Industry and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late John Henry and Sally Etta Cope.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Johnny Rayburn Cope.  She is survived by four sisters, Dona Mae Turner and Gladys Eula Cole both of McMinnville and Flora Bell Rankhorn and Martha Rankhorn both of Smithville, TN and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 21, 2006 in High's Chapel with Nestor Stewart and Wayne Cantrell officiating.  Burial followed in the Webb Cemetery.
