Timothy George COWANS

Murfreesboro, TN resident and Syracuse, NY native Timothy George Cowans, age 48, was born June 16, 1958 and died July 9, 2006 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN following a eleven day illness.  An employee at Tennessee Vocational Rehabilitation and a member of the Catholic Church, he was the son of the late William George and Mary Elizabeth Schilz Cowans.  He is survived by two sisters, Chris Cowans of McMinnville and Mary Sanders of Nashville, TN;  two brothers, William Stephen Cowans of McMinnville and Mark Cowans of Kansas;  nieces and nephews, Carmen West, Zachary Cowans, Cody Cowans, Kirby Sanders, Caleb Sanders, Stephanie Cowans, and Jennifer Cowans and special friends, Randy Hatcher of Murfreesboro, TN and Ricky Killian of McMinnville.  Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2006 in High's Chapel with Father Jim Bretl officiating.  Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory.
