McMinnville resident and Warren County native Randell Eugene "Randy" Davenport, age 46, was born June 12, 1959 and died January 21, 2006 at Raintree Manor Nursing Home following a fifteen month illness. A self-employed construction worker and a member of the Day Spring Community Church of God, he was the son of the late John Lloyd and Betty Joyce Holt Davenport. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his daughter, Washayla Sheiree Davenport and sister, Phyllis Ann Davenport. He is survived by six sisters and their spouses, Shirley and Darrel Johnson, Carolyn and James Judkins, Donna Eldridge, Linda and Gary Cooper, Patricia Richardson, and Kim Farley all of McMinnville; four brothers and their spouses, Douglas "Doug" Davenport, Tommy and Laurie Davenport, and Jason Judkins all of McMinnville and Kenneth Davenport of Cookeville, TN; eighteen nieces and nephews and three great nieces and nephews; special great-nephew, Braxton Ridge Campbell and four step-nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, January 23, 2006 in High's Chapel with Rex Boles and Elder Ricky Arnold officiating. Burial followed in the Providence Cemetery.
