William DAVIS

Rock Island, TN resident and Warren County native William Arthur "Pepper" Davis, age 52, was born April 13, 1953 and died January 17, 2006 at his residence following an extended illness.  A nursery worker and a member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Roy George and Willeva Jones Davis.  He is survived by two brothers, L.D. Davis of Beersheba Springs, TN and Roy Clifton Davis of Rock Island, TN;  three sisters, Reba Steakley of Rock Island, TN, Kathy Bunch of Pensacola, FL and Peggy Thompson of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 19, 2006 in High's Chapel with Steve Breedlove officiating.  Burial followed in the Jericho Cemetery in White Co., TN.
