Willis Earl DISHMAN

Spencer, TN resident and Van Buren County, TN native Willis Earl Dishman, age 62, was born June 20, 1944 and died October 23, 2006 at River Park Hospital following a sudden illness.  The former road superintendent for Van Buren County, TN and of the Baptist Faith, he was the son of the late Ami and Bertha Mae Lee Dishman.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son David Earl Dishman;  two brothers, Willard and Arnold Dishman and three sisters, Vella Mae Dishman, Audrey B. Hillis and Mildred Hillis.  He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Courtney and Donald Hollingsworth of Spencer, TN;  brother and sister-in-law, James Oral and Delma Dishman of Spencer, TN;  three sisters, Linda Doolittle of Huntsville, AL, Ann Dishman of McMinnville and Gwendolyn Dishman of Odessa, FL;  brothers-in-law, Winton Hillis and Sam Doolittle;  sister-in-law, Anna Mae Dishman and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 27, 2006 in High's Chapel with Freddie Savage and Ricky Rigsby officiating.  Burial followed in the Spencer Town Cemetery.
