Centertown Community resident and Warren County native Clifford Wallace Dixon, age 85, was born January 20, 1921 and died August 2, 2006 at his residence. A pipefitter with Ford Motor Company, a United States Army veteran of WWII and a member of Bates Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church, he was the son of the late John and Dora Pennington Dixon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Lee and Berlin Dixon and sister Gertie Hogan. He was married to Lottie May Klauza Dixon of the Centertown Community. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Wallace and Joyce Dixon of Livonia, Michigan; two daughters and son-in-law, Patty England of Lincoln Park, Michigan and Brenda and Al Zuirinskas of Garden City, Michigan; step-son and step-daughter-in-law, Gerald and Michelle Gladany of South Lands, Michigan; sister, Frances Thomas of Plant City, Florida; sister-in-law, Helen Dixon of McMinnville; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at a later date.
