McMinnville resident and Grundy County, TN native Ellis Houston Fults, age 90, was born February 11, 1915 and died January 28, 2006 at his residence. A retired salesman for the Warren County Co-Op and a member of the Church of Christ he served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He was the son of the late John L. and Minnie Lynn Fults. He was married to Gladys Nancy Fults of McMinnville April 13, 1940. Mr. Fults was a lifelong resident of Viola, TN prior to moving to McMinnville eleven years ago. He served as an alderman for the town of Viola for several years, was a past member of the West Warren-Viola Water Utility Board of Directors and a past member of the Warren County Tax Equalization Board. In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Sara and Conlin Womack of Davidson, NC and Janice and Charles Bradshaw of McMinnville; son and daughter-in-law, Clark and Kathy Fults of McMinnville; five grandchildren, Connie Lambert of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Kenneth Womack of Charlotte, NC, Denise Prince and Jennifer Fults both of McMinnville and Amy Bush of Manchester, TN and three great grandchildren, Cody and Cory Prince of McMinnville and Lauren Lambert of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.. Graveside service and interment was held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at Mt. Zion Cemetery with Gary Childers and Richard Crofth officiating.
