McMinnville resident and Warren County native Woodrow Glenn, age 90, was born November 2, 1916 and died November 11, 2006 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following an extended illness. A retired employee of Caney Fork Electric Cooperative, a United States Air Force veteran of WWII and a member of the Bybee Branch Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Venus and Myrtle Irene Mayfield Glenn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister and brother-in-law, Bertha and W.T. "Bill" Cantrell and brother, Martin Glenn. He was married November 10, 1945 to Mildred Inez Gribble Glenn of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Dwight Barrett of McMinnville; two granddaughters, Courtney Barrett of Murfreesboro, TN and Lindsey Barrett of McMinnville; step-grandson, Jason Barrett of Nashville, TN; brother, Harold Glenn of McMinnville; sister-in-law, Jean Glenn of Ohio and several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 13, 2006 in High's Chapel with Tony Lawrence officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
