Billy Eugene GOLDEN

McMinnville resident and Princeton County, Alabama native Billy Eugene Golden, age 73, was born May 24, 1933 and died July 27, 2006 at his residence.  A self-employed timberman and a member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Robert E. Lee and Myrtle Irene Eakes Golden.  He was married January 19, 1952 to Margaret Floyd Golden of McMinnville.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Billy Gene Golden of McMinnville;  daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Charles Hunter of McMinnville;  four grandchildren, Melanie and Christopher Golden, Kyle Summers and Chance Hunter;  four step-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren, two brothers, and two sisters.  Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 30, 2006 in High's Chapel with Phillip Rowland officiating.  Burial followed in the Smyrna Cemetery.
