Louise Moffitt HALE

McMinnville resident Louise Moffitt Hale, age 87, was born April 1, 1919 and died April 26, 2006 at her residence following a sudden illness.  A retired nurse with Dr. Wallace Bigbee and a member of the Mt. View Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late William Foster and Rebecca Parrett Groves Moffitt.  She was married to Edgar Cornell Hale who preceded her in death November 27, 1999.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Edward Hale and sister, Hester Allen.  She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca and Ronald Wilmore of McMinnville and Dottie and Charles LaFont of Franklin, TN;  two granddaughters, Renee Gipson of Honolulu, Hawaii and Jaqueline LaFont of Franklin, TN;  two grandsons, Robert C. Mullican of Woodbury, TN and Charles Hale LaFont of Memphis, TN and three great-grandchildren, Michael Mayfield of Hawaii, Taylor Mullican of Nashville, and Brittany Turner of McMinnville.  Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2006 in High's Chapel with Tim Parish officiating.  Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery on Hwy. 30.
