Scotty Ray HENSLEY

Sparta, TN resident and Knox County, TN native Scotty Ray Hensley, age 47, was born October 13, 1959 and died December 29, 2006 at his residence following an extended illness.  A clerk at Knox County Boys Club and a member of the Boiling Springs Baptist Church in Cookeville, TN, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Helen Loveday Hensley.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Grace Hensley; brother, Allen Hensley and aunt, Louise Murray.  He was married December 7, 2002 to Sandra Western Hensley of Sparta, TN.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by two step-children and their spouses, T.J. and Traci Davison of Baxter, TN and Rebecca and Lee Myers of Cookeville, TN;  two grandchildren, Anthony Tyson and Carli Davison both of Baxter, TN;  two brothers and sisters-in-law, Roger and Robin Hensley of Lawrenceville, GA and Terry and Paula Hensley of Halls, TN;  two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sherry and Rick Maloy of Lithonia, GA and Robin and Todd Warwick of Powell, TN and several nieces and nephews and cousins.  Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 1, 2007 in High's Chapel with Tracy Gross officiating.  Burial followed in the Friendship Cemetery.
