Jimmie Leroy HOLLAND

Morrison, TN resident and Warren County native Jimmie Leroy Holland, age 69, was born August 19, 1936 and died February 24, 2006 at River Park Hospital following an eleven month illness.  A former employee of Sullens and Hillis Trucking Companies, retired employee of Magnetek, and owner/operator of Mt. Leo Mobil, he attended Grace Temple Assembly of God and Covenant Fellowship Church and was a veteran having served his country in the United States Army.  He was the son of the late Harvey Leroy Holland and Mary Kirby.  He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Cindy Holland of Morrison, TN;  brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Betty Holland of McMinnville;  step-father, Herman Kirby of Morrison, TN;  grandchildren, Erin Holland (Tommy) Culwell of McMinnville and Laura Holland and Jonathan Holland both of Morrison, TN;  former wife, Lois Holland and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 26, 2006 in High's Chapel with Glen McKenzie and Kenny McNatt officiating.  Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory with military graveside rites administered by the VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173.
