Roger Dale HOLLAND

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Roger Dale Holland, age 48, was born June 9, 1958 and died December 30, 2006 at his residence following an extended illness.  A self-employed nurseryman and a member of the Shellsford Baptist Church, he was the son of Doris and Myrtle Morton Holland of McMinnville.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Levi and Betty Hennessee and paternal grandparents, Claude and Jewall Walker Holland.  In addition to his parents, he is survived by long time special companion and friend, Rita Lanier of McMinnville;  son, Travis Holland of McMinnville;  daughter, Anita Holland Pope of McMinnville;  three brothers, Ronnie, Mark and Phillip Holland all of McMinnville;  sister, Teresa Holland Delong of McMinnville and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2007 in High's Chapel with George Roberts and Jim Ramsey officiating.  Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
