McMinnville resident and Dexter, MO native Leamon Cleo Hudson, age 85, was born November 14, 1920 and died May 22, 2006 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN following an extended illness. He was the retired manager of McMinnville Garment Company, former mayor of Centertown, former member of the Warren County School Board, and a member of the Centertown Church of Christ. He was the son of the late Ott and Grace Thompson Hudson. He was married to Sophia Busey who preceded him in death in 1985. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Suzanne Hudson and son, Tommy Hudson both in 2005. He is survived by four grandchildren, Jennifer Verplank of Cookeville, TN, Ryan Cannon of Sparta, TN, Dylan Allen and Kellie Owen of Sacramento, CA and three great-grandchildren, Ashlyn, Autumn, and Ausha all of Sacramento, CA. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 25, 2006 in High's Chapel with Doris Hughes officiating. Burial followed in the Unity Cemetery.
