Edna Fay Masters HUNTER

August 12, 1944 — January 8, 2006

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Edna Fay Masters Hunter, age 61, was born August 12, 1944 and died January 8, 2006 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A bus driver for the Warren County School System and a member of the Mt. Sianai Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Herman P. and Nora O'Neal Masters.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by six brothers, Sam, Allen, Hershell, George, Johnny, and Andrew Jones.  She was married to Eugene Hunter, February 17, 1958, who survives.  In addition to her husband she is survived by son and daughter-in-law Charlie and Suzanne Hunter;  three daughters and sons-in-law, Shelia and Jimmy Elrod, Frances and Rick Humphrey, and Amy and Jason Gillentine all of McMinnville;  thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren;  brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Juanita Jones of McMinnville;  three sisters, Betty Griffin and Marie Jenkins both of Ohio, and Ola Vaughn of McMinnville.  Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2006 in High's Chapel with George Roberts and Troy Jenkins officiating.  Burial followed in the Smyrna Cemetery.
