John JOHNSON

Morrison, TN resident and White County, TN native John Johnson, age 81, was born August 11, 1925 and died December 1, 2006 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness.  A retired employee of Carrier Corporation, a retired thirty-year veteran of the United States Navy having served in WWII and Korea and a member of the Wesley Chapel Methodist Church, he was the son of the late Will and Maddie Bohannon Johnson.  He was married to Mabel Mabell Fults Johnson who preceded him in death.  He is survived by one granddaughter and her fiancé, Angie Wood and James Cossey of Manchester, TN and great-granddaughter, Haven Wood also of Manchester.  Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 4, 2006 in High's Chapel with Clayton Jones officiating.  Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory with military honors administered by the United States Navy Honor Guard.
