Sara Taylor JOHNSON

McMinnville resident and Anniston, AL native Sara Taylor Johnson, age 77, was born December 23, 1928 and died October 19, 2006 at River Park Hospital following a six-month illness.  A retired self-employed court reporter and member of the First Presbyterian Church, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Elizabeth Finch Taylor.  She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, James Edward Johnson, Jr. of Mableton, GA and Steven Taylor and Beth Johnson of McMinnville;  granddaughter, Taylor Elizabeth Johnson of McMinnville;  brother, John Taylor of Birmingham, AL and aunt, Margaret Finch of Kona, Hawaii.  Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 21, 2006 in High's Chapel with Andy Gay officiating.  Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.  In memory of Mrs. Johnson, donations may be made to your favorite charity.
