Mildred Inez KELL

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Mildred Inez Kell, age 80, was born February 14, 1926 and died November 6, 2006 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness.  A retired employee of Colonial Shirt Factory and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late James Robert and Ibbie Jane Youngblood Prater.  She was married to Oliver Dale Kell who preceded her in death in October of 1963.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Hubert, Shelie, Medford, Allen, and George Prater and three sisters, Ruby Prater, Hattie E. Prater and Amon Pearsall.  She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and David Elrod of the Centertown Community;  son and daughter-in-law, Jackie and Annie Ruth Prater of the Centertown Community;  four grandchildren, Angela Acton, Jeff and Kim Prater and Katelyn Elrod and three great-grandchildren, Amber Gunter, Dustin Reeves and MeKenzie Acton.  Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at the Ivy Bluff Church of Christ with Kenneth Mears and Odell Powell officiating.  Burial followed in the West Cemetery in Cannon County, TN.
