Freeman Elton KILLIAN

McMinnville resident and Grundy County, TN native Freeman Elton Killian, age 80, was born February 14, 1926 and died June 5, 2006 at his residence following an extended illness.  A self-employed nurseryman and a member of the Mt. Leo Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Mack and Earline Cathcart Killian.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Brad Sparkman.  He was married March 29, 1947 to Kathleen Wiseman Killian of McMinnville.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Linda and Eddie Sparkman and Freda Curtis all of McMinnville;  three sons and daughters-in-law, Phillip and Carol Killian of Morrison, TN and Kent and Connie Killian and Mark Killian all of McMinnville;  eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren;  brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Lydia Killian of McMinnville and three sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen and Clifton Patrick, Francis and Earl Campbell, and Maxine Anderson all of McMinnville.  Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2006 in High's Chapel.  Burial followed in the Hebron Cemetery.
