Charles Junior KING

March 5, 1940 — November 23, 2006

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Charles Junior King, age 66, was born March 5, 1940 and died November 23, 2006 at his residence following a sudden illness.  A nursery worker and a member of the Brown Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Charles Leftrict and the late Emma King.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, William Thomas and Clay King and two sisters, Jessie Lee Mount and Willie Mae Williams.  He was married to Marie Janice Wade King of McMinnville.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Willard Hill, Bernice King and Mary and Alvin Petty all of Manchester, TN;  two sons, Charlie and Dwayne King both of McMinnville;  ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 26, 2006 in High's Chapel with Dr. Eugene Scott and George King, Jr. officiating.  Burial followed in the Brown Chapel Cemetery.
