David Marshall LOVELL

Rock Island, TN resident and Warren County native David Marshall Lovell, age 59, was born August 22, 1946 and died February 22, 2006 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN following a brief illness.  An electrical technician in the amusement machine industry, a member of the Church of Christ, and a veteran of the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, he was the son of the late Frank Gay and Virginia Lee Scott Lovell.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Ramsey Young and brother-in-law, Eddie Young.  He was married to Melinda Young Lovell of Rock Island, TN on March 2, 1985.  In addition to his wife he is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Joey Phillips of Manchester, TN;  two grandchildren, Brandon and Adam Phillips both of Manchester;  sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Rodney Peterson of Manchester;  nephews, Scott Peterson of Manchester and John Cody and Joshua Young of McMinnville;  nieces, LeAnna Brown of Manchester, TN, Misty Bush of Smithville, TN, and Heather Poole of McMinnville;  mother-in-law, Nell Young of McMinnville and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Danny and Gail Young of McMinnville.  Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2006 in High's Chapel with Rondell Fletcher and Earl Adamson officiating.  Burial followed in the Womack Cemetery.
