McMinnville resident and Harlan County, KY native Audrey Day Marino, age 79, was born December 4, 1926 and died April 6, 2006 at her residence following an extended illness. A homemaker and a member of Faith Chapel, she was the daughter of the late Yurekes and Mary Elizabeth Gross Saylor. She was first married to the late Melvin W. Day and married second to the late Robert P. Marino. She is survived by three children, Ben M. and Rosalind Day of McMinnville, Inez and James Pedigo of Warren County and LaVerne and Nick Nunley of Van Buren County, TN; two special step-daughters, Patricia Keevers of Chicago, Illinois and Sharon Brown of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Chris Day and fiancée, Erika Decker, Daniel and Sara Day, Melissa Pedigo, Clark and Blanca Pedigo, Sandy and David Wade, Robin Cates, Kelly Pedigo and fiancée, Helena Roberts, Scott and Dawn Lyle, Nathan Nunley, and Janella Gulick; special relative, Shelia Brown; twenty great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 9, 2006 in High's Chapel with Ben Day, Jim Zlaten and Ron Fuller officiating. Burial followed in the Bascom Cemetery.
