Lisa Gail MARTINEZ

McMinnville resident and Somerset, Kentucky native Lisa Gail Martinez, age 35, was born July 8, 1970 and died January 12, 2006 at River Park Hospital following a sudden illness.  A homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church, she was the daughter of Anna Marie Robinson Pierce of McMinnville and the late Willie Carrolton Tarter.  In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Shanatha and Chrystal Brannam both of McMinnville;  step father, Fred Prater of McMinnville;  two grandchildren, Cameron Burkett and Kaitlyn Martinez both of McMinnville;  sister and brother-in-law, Julie and Carl Weddington of McMinnville;  half-brother, Donald Wayne Tarter of Somerset, KY;  nephew, Jacob Weddington and special friend Pat Miles.  Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 15, 2006 in High's Chapel with Buddy Pope officiating.  Burial followed in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
