McMinnville resident and Dekalb County, TN native Clarence Aubry Moore, age 79, was born July 3, 1926 and died June 3, 2006 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was the owner and operator of Moore Lumber Sales, Inc., a sales representative for Miller Lumber Company, a member of Warren Lodge #125 F&AM, a Shriner, a member of The Order of the Eastern Star, a member of the Housing Authority Board, former Director of US Bank and City School Board, and a member of the First Baptist Church. He served his country in the United States Army during WWII. He was the son of the late William Erby and Julia Macon Vaughn Moore. He was married to Sara Henegar Moore of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Melinda Cooper of McMinnville and Judy Moore of Nashville, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Clint and Anita Moore of McMinnville; five grandchildren and their spouses, Chase Moore of Knoxville, TN, KayAnn Moore and Sally and Mike Pack of McMinnville, Elisa and Barry Luna of Seymour, TN and Faith Cooper of Morrison, TN; three great-grandchildren, Raylee and Carly Pack of McMinnville and Ty Martin of Morrison, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Bettye and Bob Ramsey of Franklin, TN and three brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray and Betty Moore, Paul and Brenda Moore, and David and Jane Moore all of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 5, 2006 at First Baptist Church with Bill Martin officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
