Dr. Barun Aditya MUKHERJI

McMinnville resident and Calcutta, India native Dr. Barun Aditya Mukherji, age 66, was born April 2, 1939 and died January 27, 2006 at his residence following a brief illness.  A self-employed physician and of the Hindu faith, he was the son of the late Shyama Charan and Renuka Chatterji Mukherji.  He was married to Chitra Banerjee Mukherji of McMinnville on December 4, 1968.  In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Ashok "Bappa" Mukherji and Bhasker "Rama" Mukherji both of Nashville, TN;  three grandchildren, Anjali, Evan, and Serena Mukherji;  brother, Arun Mukherji and sister, Shyamali Banerjee both of India.  A memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2006 at the McMinnville First Baptist Church with Eben Gilbert and Bill Zechman officiating.  Memorial donations may be made to .
