Pauline Goodson PAINE

McMinnville resident and White County, TN native Pauline Goodson Paine, age 81, was born August 19, 1924 and died February 15, 2006 at River Park Hospital following a brief illness.  A homemaker and a member of the North Sparta Church of God, she was the daughter of the late Watt and Pearlie Rice Goodson.  She was married to John Thomas Paine who preceded her in death February 10, 2002.  In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Denise Paine;  brothers, Tom , Mack, Bill, and George Goodson and sisters, Margaret Roberts and Lillie Mae Roberts.  She is survived by five daughters and sons-in-law, Allene and Joe Simmons of Sparta, TN, Gail and Ronnie Lowery of McMinnville, Kathy and Billy Bentley of Chickamauga, GA, and Jenny Watson and Shelly Paine both of McMinnville;  three sons and daughter-in-law, Gerald Ray Roberts of Nashville, TN, Billy Carl Roberts and Lloyd Earl and Mary Roberts both of Sparta, TN;  eighteen grandchildren and spouses, Vicki and Jack Pirrie, Sherri and Mike Vanatta, Lisa Johnson, Jerry and Crissi Roberts, Tiffany Campbell, Rodney and Becky Roberts, John Mark Roberts, Danny and Kathy Brock, Sharon Simmons, Karon Brock, Michael Wright, Isaac Wright, Rhonda and Jr. Prater, Shane and Lori Lowery, Tommy and Guronica Bentley, Deanna and Steve Swanney, Jennifer Bentley, and Jeremy and Lisa Bentley;  thirty-two great grandchildren;  brother, J.B. Goodson of Tullahoma, TN;  several nieces and nephews and special friend, Henrietta Templeton.  Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2006 in High's Chapel with Jimmy Lindsey officiating.  Burial followed in the Spring Hill Cemetery in White County, TN.
