Decatur, Alabama resident and Warren County native Floyd Ebon Pendleton, age 90, was born July 15, 1916 and died August 26, 2006 at Erwin Healthcare Center in Erwin, TN following a brief illness. A retired maintenance supervisor with DuPont in Old Hickory, TN, a United States Marine Corps veteran of WWII and a member of the City Road United Methodist Church in Madison, TN, he was the son of the late R.D. and Willie Bell Pendleton. He was married to Kathleen Yarbrough Pendleton who preceded him in death. He is survived by two step-daughters and step-sons-in-law, Rebecca and Charles Mingle of Ft. Payne, AL and Patricia and Charles Hough of Decatur, AL; five grandchildren, David and Tami Glass of California, James Glass of Memphis, TN, Melissa Hough of Murfreesboro, TN, and Britney Fureigh of Montgomery, AL; four great-grandchildren, Jonathon, Justin, Jacob, and Rylie and cousins, Juanita Copeland, F.K. Bell, Dorothy Norrod, James, J.C. and Fred Brown Bell and Wilma Turner. A graveside service and interment was held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 26, 2006 at Mt. View Cemetery with Rev. Larry Layne officiating.
