Katie Kathleen PENNINGTON

Hermitage, TN resident and Van Buren County, TN native Katie Kathleen Pennington, age 80, was born May 15, 1925 and died February 15, 2006 at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, TN following a brief illness.  A self-employed beautician and a member of the East End Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Edna Rogers Kell.  She was married to Joe Claborn Pennington who preceded her in death December 28, 2002.  She is survived by two sons, Joe Kyle Pennington of Nashville, TN and J. Kelvin Pennington of Brentwood, TN;  two daughters, Neva Genay Moore of Clearwater, Florida and Edna Janice Crowder of Hermitage, TN;  eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one brother, Gilbert Kell of McMinnville.  A graveside service and interment was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2006 at Crain Hill Cemetery in Van Buren Co., TN with David Sain officiating.
