Kelly Denise PLEASANT

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Kelly Denise Pleasant, age 42, was born August 17, 1963 and died March 7, 2006 at her residence following a ten month illness.  An employee of Raintree Manor in housekeeping and a member of the Brown Chapel Baptist Church, she was the daughter of William Buster Pleasant of McMinnville and the late Ruby Nell Wade Pleasant.  In addition to her father she is survived by husband, Kenny Solomon of McMinnville;  three children, Melissa Pleasant, Shantay Herron, and Vondale Solomon all of McMinnville;  three grandchildren, Devin and Jalen Pleasant and Savannah West;  three brothers, William Randall Junior Pleasant, William Steve Junior Pleasant, and Michael David Pleasant all of McMinnville;  two half-sisters, Vanessa Pinegar and Brandy Taylor both of McMinnville;  devoted sister-in-law, Geneva Locke Pleasant of McMinnville.  Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 2006 in High's Chapel with Rev. Paul McKee officiating.  Burial followed in the Brown Chapel Cemetery.
