McMinnville resident and Ora, Mississippi native Leslie Lemuel Quinn, Jr., age 91, was born August 30, 1914 and died May 26, 2006 at Raintree Manor Nursing Home. He was the retired owner and operator of Home Oil Company and a member of First Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He also served on the Board of Directors at Warren County Bank, and was the son of the late Leslie Lemuel "L.L." and Nellie Furley Quinn, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Nelle Marie Hickman and Evelyn Phillips and daughter and son-in-law, Leslie Sue Kirby and Homer Kirby, Jr. He was married August 14, 1938 to Lorella Dodson Quinn of McMinnville. In addition to his wife he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Sharon Quinn of McMinnville; seven grandchildren, Dr. Trey Kirby of McMinnville, Kerri Johnson and Kent Kirby both of Nashville, TN, Bobby Kirby, Laura Hilliard, Candi Dyer, and Jamie Quinn all of McMinnville; fifteen great-grandchildren and one sister, Sarah Keefauver of Austin, TX. A graveside service and interment was held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, May 28, 2006 at Gardens of Memory with David Sharpe officiating.
