Lucky Community resident and Warren County Native Elva Sue Rader, age 64, was born May 1, 1941 and died January 21, 2006 at River Park Hospital after a sudden illness. A housewife and a member of the Providence Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Hale and Mazel McMillen of the Lucky Community. She was married to Lawrence Junior Rader August 15, 1958. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her step-fathers, Jack Bates and Loren Wallace; brother, Joe W. Hale; nephew, Larry A. Hale and maternal grandparents, Listeth and Susie McMillen. In addition to her husband and mother she is also survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Tonia Rader of the Lucky Community; daughter, Peggie Hobbs of Naples, FL; sister-in-law, Sue Hale of the Lucky Community; step-sisters and spouse, Lorna and Nick Abraham and Carol Beck both of Michigan; three grandsons, Bobby Rader, David Hobbs, and Bill Rader; four granddaughters, Viki Andrews, Teresa and Nacey Rader, and Marie Hobbs; granddaughter-in-law, Ann Rader; grandson-in-law, Robert Andrews; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Sam Rader, James Rader, Earnestine Key, Mary Acres and Joyce Key; several nieces and nephews and a very best friend, Betty Moffett of Michigan. Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2006 in High's Chapel with Michael Harris officiating. Burial followed in the Providence Cemetery.
