Noble Douglas RHEA

Hubbard's Cove Community resident and Grundy County, TN native Noble Douglas Rhea, age 78, was born September 14, 1927 and died April 17, 2006 at his residence following an extended illness.  A retired gas station owner and a member of the White Hall Bible Church, he was the son of the late Howard and Mary Alma Rhea.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Virginia Sue Hibdon and son, Jimmy Howard Rhea.  He was married to Virginia Jo Smith Rhea of the Hubbard's Cove Community.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son Larry Noble Rhea of the Hubbard's Cove Community and seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 20, 2006 in High's Chapel with Ronnie Powell officiating.  Burial followed in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
