Mary Elizabeth RIGSBY

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Mary Elizabeth Rigsby, age 81, was born January 17, 1925 and died November 4, 2006 at her residence following an extended illness.  A retired seamstress and inspector at McMinnville Garment Company and a member of the First Church of God, she was the daughter of the late Gren Fletcher and Nettie Mae Lowery Certain.  She was married to Marvin Leonard Rigsby who preceded her in death September 12, 1978.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Malcolm and Elwood Certain and sister Tamar Mathis.  She is survived by two daughters, Marsha Jackson and Karen Adcock both of McMinnville;  son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Brenda Rigsby of McMinnville;  grandchildren, Jeremy (Carla) Jackson of Murfreesboro, TN and Jennifer Jackson and Amanda Jones both of McMinnville;  great-granddaughters, Abby and Rachel Jackson both of Murfreesboro, TN and AmyLee Jones of McMinnville;  step-grandchildren, Victoria McComis and Gary McComis, Jr. both of McMinnville;  sister, Emogene Sheil of McMinnville and brothers, Edward and Jr. Certain both of Texas.  Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2006 in High's Chapel with Rex Boles officiating.  Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory.
