Virginia Ruth RIGSBY

McMinnville resident and White County, TN native Virginia Ruth Rigsby, age 83, was born December 17, 1922 and died November 3, 2006 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness.  A retired employee of Kingsboro Silk Mill and a member of the Church of God, she was the daughter of the late Andy Gooch and the late Arlie Bain Williamson.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Phillip Evans; two sisters, Emma Mae Gooch and Geneva Dykes and brother, Orville Gooch.  She is survived by one daughter, Linda Evans of McMinnville;  son and daughter-in-law, Dickie and Lois Rogers of McMinnville;  seven grandchildren and their spouses, Richard, Debbie, and Andy Rogers, Darrell Evans, Roger Evans, Greg and Jennifer Evans and Kevin and Nichole Evans;  five great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren;  six step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2006 in High's Chapel with Rex Boles officiating.  Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
