Bertie Deola Hill ROBERTS

McMinnville resident and Texas native Bertie Deola Hill Roberts, age 62, was born October 9, 1944 and died October 22, 2006 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness.  A homemaker and a member of the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Estalene Vaughn Hill.  She was married October 23, 1961 to Lonnie Joe Roberts, Sr. who preceded her in death April 8, 1997.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Ronnie Lynn Roberts and granddaughter, Jamie Nichole Stoner.  She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Lonnie J. and Carolyn Roberts, Jr. of Woodbury, TN;  three daughters and sons-in-law, Angie and Jerry Young, Estalene Roberts, and Christene and Tim Saylors all of McMinnville;  ten grandchildren, Ashley Stoner Johnson, Brandon Stoner, Helena, Dustin and Benji Roberts, Amy Yates, Robert Lee Yates, Jr., Dillon and Brooke Mullican and Dustin Saylors; three great-grandchildren, Lakelynn Stoner, Garrett Pawlak, Jr. and Emily Hickey;  three brothers, J.W. Hill of Yaleville, AR, Kenneth Hill of Fayetteville, AR and David Hill of Springdale, AR;  sister, Janice Stevenson of Hereford, TX and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jessie Lee and Eva Mai Roberts of McMinnville.  Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2006 in High's Chapel with George Roberts officiating.  Burial followed in the Crain Hill Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN.
