Joshua Lee SCRUGGS

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Joshua Lee Scruggs, age 18, was born October 23, 1987 and died March 20, 2006 at River Park Hospital.  A Warren County High School student and a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church, he was the son of Anthony Lyn and Patty Kay Muncey Scruggs, Sr. of the Centertown Community.  He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Howard Muncey and Frankie Scruggs.  In addition to his parents he is survived by his fiancée, Jessica Dodds of McMinnville;  two brothers, Anthony Lynn Scruggs, Jr. and Chris Scruggs both of the Centertown Community;  paternal grandmother, Wilma Scruggs of McMinnville;  maternal grandmother, Peggy Muncey of the Centertown Community and several aunts, uncles and cousins.  Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 2006 in High's Chapel with Alton Scruggs and Eddie Ware officiating.  Burial followed in the Wilson Chapel Cemetery.
