Hendersonville, TN resident and Warren County native Clarence Wayne Sellars, age 94, was born December 20, 1911 and died May 31, 2006 at Outlook Pointe of Hendersonville, TN following an extended illness. A retired employee of Westinghouse Electric in the light division and a member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Oscar and Cleo Sellars. He was married to his wife of 65 years, Christine A. Reeder Sellars who preceded him in death March 7, 2001. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Ed, Max, and Ray Sellars and one sister, Emma Lou Rainey. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Annette and Bill Ruhl of Hendersonville, TN; three grandchildren and their spouses, Gayle and Russell Pearl of Nashville, TN, Betsy and Barry Potts of Hendersonville, and Janet and David Gragg of Madison, TN; seven great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Ned and Annette Sellars of Atlanta, GA; two sisters, Blanche Turner of Manchester, TN and Nell Walker of Lebanon, TN; two sisters-in-law, Sally Sellars of Cowan, TN and Elvie Sellars of Manchester and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Nelson and Irene Kell of Denver, CO. A graveside service and interment was held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, June 2, 2006 at Salem Cemetery with Bill Ruhl officiating.
