Doris Virginia SHAVER

McMinnville resident and South Hampton, Massachusetts native Doris Virginia Shaver, age 86, was born March 28, 1920 and died November 13, 2006 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN following a sudden illness.  A retired employee of Formfit Rogers and a member of the Lutheran Church, she was the daughter of the late Arnold and Anna Kaepel Hiltpold.  She was married to Jr. Shaver who preceded her in death.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one great-grandson, Stacey Kyle Reed.  She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Thweatt of McMinnville;  three granddaughters, Kathie Redmon (Tim) Cowan, Kimberly Hayes (Dale) Nunley, and Tracie Hayes Dunn all of McMinnville;  eight great-grandchildren, Brandon Redmon, Chad Reed, Destin Reed, Meagan Butcher, Madison Taylor, Hailey Taylor, Braden Dunn and Bryce Fulton;  two sisters, Muriel Dickerson of Cornelius, NC and Barbara Robinson of St. Petersburg, FL and brother, Roy Hiltpold of Holyoke, MA.  Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 16, 2006 in High's Chapel with Richard Bowman officiating.  Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
