Esther Mae SIMONDS

Morrison, TN resident and White County, TN native Esther Mae Simonds, age 73, was born May 18, 1933 and died November 15, 2006 at her residence following an extended illness.  A nutritionist at Crittenton Hospital in Crittenton, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Lee and Beulah Rigsby Hutchins.  She was married to Abslom Grant Simonds who preceded her in death February 26, 2002.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lawanna Gail Simonds.  She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Sheila Simonds of Morrison, TN;  seven grandchildren, Michelle and William Barnhill of McMinnville, Jessica Simonds and her Fiancé, Michael Dougherty of California, Joseph Simonds, II of California, David Morris of McMinnville, Rachael and Vincent Paz of California, Eric Morris and Sherry Morris both of McMinnville;  five great-grandchildren, Logan, Blake, Abbigail, Shelby and Aiden;  two sisters, Inez Girdley of Indiana and Sue and Dean Denton of Quebeck, TN;  two brothers, James and Madelien Hutchins and Jesse and Pat Hutchins both of Rock Island, TN and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 2006 in High's Chapel with Paul Girdley officiating.  Burial followed in the Old Bybee Cemetery.
