Charles Farless SPARKMAN

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Charles Farless Sparkman, age 77, was born August 13, 1929 and died December 31, 2006 at River Park Hospital following a four-year illness.  An employee at River Park Hospital and a member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Charlie Ryan and Gladys Hazel Montandon Sparkman.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Truman and James Duaine Sparkman and two sisters, Vennita Koenig and Judith Yates Carruth.  He is survived by three brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Sandra Sparkman of McMinnville, Kenneth Dale and Margaret Sparkman of Elkhart, Indiana and Wade and Violet Sparkman of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2007 in High's Chapel with Titus Ward officiating.  Burial followed in the Friendship Cemetery.
