Larry Wayne TURNER

Springfield, Missouri resident and Warren County, TN native Larry Wayne Turner, age 66, was born April 1, 1940 and died May 13, 2006 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Missouri following a sudden illness.  A transport driver for Colonial Bakery and a member of the Assembly of God, he was the son of Dollie Mae Pinegar Turner of McMinnville and the late Floyd Brown Turner.  In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Larry Wayne Turner,II and Melanie of Columbia, TN;  daughter and son-in-law, Melodie and Jeff Ashford of McMinnville;  three grandchildren, Krista Creasy, Allison Rae Turner, and Emily Mae Turner;  great-grandchild, Ian Eckles;  two sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and David Pack of Hixon, TN and Faye and Larry Bailey of Germantown, TN; longtime best friend, Nancy Jo Stokes and several nieces, nephews, and good friends.  Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2006 in High's Chapel with Sammy Lee officiating.  Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory.
