Nina Sutton Grissom TURNER

McMinnville resident and Van Buren County, TN native Nina Sutton Grissom Turner, age 78, was born July 12, 1928 and died November 21, 2006 at her residence following an extended illness.  A homemaker and a member of the East End Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late A.E. "Doc" and Alice Myers Grissom.  She was married January 28, 1946 to Charlie Price Turner who preceded her in death March 16, 1995.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Gerald Smith Grissom.  She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Ron Farmer of McMinnville;  granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Shannon and Phillip Teeters of Morrison, TN;  three great-granddaughters, Haley, Hilary, and Heidy-Lin Teeters;  brother and sister-in-law, Gordon and Lois Grissom of Bone Cave, TN;  sister, Jo Ann Tate of McMinnville;  sister-in-law, Lynn Grissom of Charleston, SC and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 25, 2006 in High's Chapel with Garland Robinson officiating.  Burial followed in the Long Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN.
